Hancock's President's Reserve is a single barrel high rye-content premium bourbon from Buffalo Trace distillery. One of the original single barrel bourbons introduced by Elmer T. Lee during his time as distillery manager of what was then known as the George T. Stagg distillery (now Buffalo Trace). Deep amber in color and its nose is light and sweet with traces of lightly toasted pecans, vanilla, sweet corn, and tropical fruit. It is full-bodied and its palate shows a balance of honey, clover, fruit, and spice. The finish of this wine is long and warm in nature. It has a balanced flavor and it is a really good whiskey to sip slowly.
