The first in a series of anniversary bottlings for Balcones, this is a limited-edition cask strength bottled at 62.5% ABV. This Texas whiskey is made with 100% rye, and raw elbon grain from north and northwest Texas as well as crystal, chocolate and roasted rye varieties, giving the whisky a special rich chocolate character with more traditional rye spice notes. Aged for almost two years, this rye is matured in new American oak barrels and brought to proof with Hill Country spring water.
